Something To Kick Off The New Year

A big happy new year to you, hope you've had a kickass start to this year. Anyway I've been busy/lazy that's why I haven't bothered to update in..err..2 weeks hehehe. Breakdown time:

New Year:

I spent New Year's Eve and Day at Tagaytay with the whole family, uncles, aunts, cousins, whatnots included. It was pretty fun, but extremely cold. The usual mahjong games, great food, basketball, and more food.

Post New Year:

When we got home, I went straight to planning my week. I attempted to finish the supposed works I'm going to include in my portfolio for the Pulp submission, I got all of the drawings done, scanned 'em but kinda stopped coloring them. Maybe I'll resume tomorrow hehe.

I also went to school to fix some paper with regards to..yes..graduation..ehem...

And just the past weekend, I was in Tagaytay again, with the cool weather and all. This time I was with friends, caught up with old times. Oh yeah, met new friends.. My friend's GF brought her friends along and it was...uh yeah.. fun (overused word of the freakin' day). We got along quite well, shout out to Reese and B3! =p

Now I'm back to the real world and haven't done anything significant except listen to music, and dream.

Uh.. yeah and my phone is busted, how messed up is that? I brought the phone over to the Nokia Care Center awhile ago, hopefully they get it fixed. I also caught Kung Fu Hustle and it was great! A...err..fun, fun fun fun fun fun fun movie, great effects and solid story. Now why can't local movies do it like they do? I mean the effects don't look that fake compared to the ones we have here. Also saw the trailers for Elektra and Meet The Fockers, hmm more nice movies coming up.

I still have to get a few more cds before I leave, I'll just put it here to remind me:

I'm also on a lookout for a laptop.

Last thing, I'm leaving on the 15th or 17th of February and because of that I'm gonna put up a new template. Since I'm going alone and most probably be bored for the first few weeks, it's blogging time.

Sick

Argh I feel so tired, may whole body is weak and crap.. I hate the feeling of being sick..I hope I'm good by tomorrow. I wanna catch the Play 4 Serve gig tomorrow night and I got a party hosted by a friend. Get well soon to me! haha.

mp3 MP3 MP3!

okay I'm still on a look for an mp3 player, most people who say get an iPOD but today I found out that MPIO has the HD200. 5 gigabytes (1 gb more than the iPOD mini), the weight and size just about the same with the iPOD mini, abeit a tad heavier, though I doubt it's that noticable. And it has FM radio! Plus I read that transferring files was pretty smooth.

I'm still a little hesistant about buying it, P15k is a lot of money and I really could use a WACOM tablet for drawing but then I'd need a laptop to be able to use it when I'm not home, which is say around 6 months to a few years starting February. Argh! and it's not like living is so cheap nowadays. I just feel guilty when I ask my parents to buy stuff for me. Not my style to ask for something I guess....
